Q. Do Wellies.ie have a physical shop?

A. No, we are an onlne store. However if you wish to try boots on, it is by appointment only. Call 087 2589736.

Q. What are the delivery costs?
A. Delivery is Free for ALL of Ireland.

Q. Do you ship outside of Ireland?
A. No.

 Q. Can I return my boots if they do not fit or if I change my mind?
 A. Yes you can, but please read our "Returns" section carefully before doing so.

 Q. Can I specify an alternative delivery address such as my works address?
 A. That’s no problem; just enter the delivery address in the "Shopping Cart" while checking out.

Q. Do I need to create an account on Wellies.ie to make a purchase?
A. No you do not, but if you return to Wellies.ie your details will be saved for future visits.

Q. What do I do if I have forgotten my password.
A. Don’t panic. That's no problem, just click the "forgot your password" link at the login page and we will email you a new password.

Q. Are there any extra charges?
A. Absolutely not, what you see is what you pay.  All prices include delivery within Ireland. 

Q. How do I know what size wellies I should choose?
A. Go to our Size Guides.  More boots have our own recommendations from our experience.

Q. How long does it take for delivery?
A. Delivery usually takes between 2 - 3 days. Currently we use Fastway Couriers. They tracking services on our deliveries, so you can see where your boots are at any time.

Q. Can I get a vat receipt for my purchases?
A. Yes, we are fully registered for VAT. Just let us know at the time of ordering and we will send you one.

Q. What credit cards can I use to pay for my boots.
A. Payment can be made by all major credit & debit cards on the checkout page OR alternatively by using your PayPal login/ID.

Q.I don't have a PayPal account, but want to use my regular credit/debit card. Is this possible?

A. Yes it is. When you confirm your purchase on Wellies.ie, you are redirected to the PayPal website. PayPal process regular debit/credit card for people who do not have or do not want to use a PayPal account.. 

Q. I can't find where to use my credit/debit card once I am redirected to PayPal.

A. This is slightly different depending on what internet browser you are using & what type of device/computer you are using. The problem one is using some tablets. You get directed to the PayPal page, but can't see anywhere to pay by regular debit/credit card. You should see a "Create an Account" on a grey box, you would think you are going to create a PayPal account, but you are not. Click on the grey box and on the next screen you can enter you normal deit or credit card.

Q. Does Wellies.ie store any sensitive information about the boot purchaser?

A.No we do not. All we store is you logon  & delivery details, name, address, telephone number & email address.

Q. Do you have access to or keep debit/credit card details?

A. No we do not. When you are in the process of buying boots from us, you are redirected to PayPal for the actual payment transaction. Paypal process payments via their own email link system, as well as processing normal debit & credit cards for non PayPal members. That is why we use Paypal, they have all the secure systems for financial transactions. We just sell boots!
